The girl within the picture fell in love with a man. She offered her heart to him. He courted slowly, and, just as silver does, her heart grew dim. The man fell for another, and kept her waiting, as her heart tarnished over, and then broke. As many would know, a broken heart is the worst injury one could get, and she, eventually killed herself. Her spirit now haunts ones who break their true love's heart.
