have you ever noticed that when you go to comment on a piece of work and u read the other comments, how the subject changes to be really random things?

it happenes ALL the time you really can't help it, but it sure is fun!

it can be quite easy to change the subject to something random all you have to do is shout somthing out(or get noname involved in the conversation) like..........ZOMBIES

Very good drawing. The feet do look to small for proper body support and the wings look to small as well, but the wings also look powerfull, I guess that could make up for the size. The dragon looks imaciated around the waist to. It is so thin that the dragon would break its back if it tried to fly, run, or fight. But the dragon also looks powerful and has good detail in it. The shading is superb and the wrinkles and the lines caused by muscle are well done.

Reminds me of the Dragon from the Discovery Channel movie Dreagons: A Fantasy Made Real

I loved the prehistoric dragon...the wyvern, yes? If not....I liked the wyvern the most. ^^

I am trying to keep track of when that show comes on. It was so cool. I've got posters and a book from it. The prehistoric dragon was definately the absolute cooolest

Not too be picky or anything, I mean I love it Marsy, it's just that it's too skinny...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that, but Mars di a good job on the chest. A dragon is supposed to have and enlarged chest to hold an enlarged heart, but I never took care to draw that on many of my dragons.

I just got really good at drawing dragons around late 2005. My older pictures from early 2005 and earlier kinda suck, so don't feel bad. I didn't even get the proportions down till a few months ago.

Don't forget, Ferny, part of its back is hidden by the wing, so it looks a bit skinnier than it really is.

Still looks to skinny for me, sorry I'm such a proportional crittic. You can blame my grandma for that, and Trouble(my baby iguana), and his relatives, and this site I guess, all of that gave me the proportional eye I have now.

well there are a lot of other things wrong with this pic too, perhaps it's just a skinny dragon... Look at a greyhound, for example. Big deep chest, very skinny waist. I don't base my dragons on reptiles very often.

Well, I've got a dragon based on a fish, and a dragon like creature based on a cheetah, one based on a bird. I mainly base the scales on lizards and the bodies on dinosaurs, wel, not dinosaurs any more, now I base them on dogs, cats, and imagination. Its not totally that the waist is skinny really, its the way the back legs are attached that make it look skinny. there too thick and look as if there barely hangin' on. Like I said before, the big deep chest would hold an enlarged heart, perfect for flying type creatures. Birds have large chests, sort off.

You said it's skinny and if you read the comments I already had a huge conversation with Kelsey about it, and this pic is a few months away from being a year old.. I know it's skinny, but it's not gonna change.. anyway, yes it does look like you, but it was drawn before you got here xD

well, it doesn't have feather wings so.. xD ok, I guess... I just don't see the point in pointing out the obvious in something that's so old.. xD

lol, soz. and, I have a hard time drawing feather wings, so in my pics, the only thing that distingiushes me is the frill and the tail. recently I have added a sort of dragon earing thing, for more detail. and also color of course. not everyone is teal and blue-green. but pencil is my fav media, so it is hard to potray color, lol
