I don't actually know why this and the Blue Dragon piece never made it onto DA as I was quite proud of both of them, especially at the time when I first made them and hadn't had time o let the flaws all sink in. I was really surprised while looking through my flash drive that I had 4 dragon pictures that had never been posted on either of my DA accounts. I had a previous one, Reptilia-7, which has most of my AP work. I've since abandoned it for the quieter one I now have

Ah. I actually didn't look up any references for this, just drew what would fit the constellation. I wasn't thinking about it at the time but I'm glad I made the dragon ambiguous because it should represent all dragon species

well i think it dose represent at least some of the species. i see some Chinese in there, there's a small amount of authentic European, and the ever so slightly appearance of drake i think its called.

Well, I managed feathers so its sort of representative of feathered serpent types....stretching a bit. Again, I didn't think about that until after I'd finished it. At the time my only concern was making sure it's body fit the shape of the constellation

Well, a chimera in the general sense is any combination of animals....so griffons and arguably dragons can each be considered chimeras already without being combined. There is the classical chimera though of lion/serpent/goat cross

Yes, actually. At least in your partial forms anyway. I think chimera is also a medical term but I'm not sure. In my own world, Pentalga, I also use the term 'polyanimus' to describe multiple creature combinations. There's a whole enterprise built around coming up with polyanimorphs for various reasons from beauty to work load. The kind of work involved is often contraversial because many people consider it inhumane as it can create animals that are disturbed and monstrous, such as the veaziake which is posted up here somewhere. Still, advocators for the creation of polyanimus consider it little more than a more elastic version of dog breeding and make an art out of it. 'Polyanthromorphic' is a similar term that would refer to shapeshifters.

ive actually looked into some medical and bio medical research about that stuff, kinda looking for a way to introduce it into a human host to morph forms, but there is nothing in that field that has had any progress with transformation of living organisms of relative size...kinda a dead end...i have to switch up devices real quick, must get off my computer and all that. ill still be on tho.

It's great too because I've got so many things I want to do. Get my summer job back, fix up my Zazzle store (which is what I'm redoing this for), work on the blog for Cruor's story, hopefully finish Cruor's story because I do want that published in the next couple of years, do other artsy things...and try not to just spend the whole summer on Minecraft again so I can be productive I've only got a little over a month left

heheh, but minecraft is fun...when the server isnt being mean and block locky...but that sounds, eventful to say the least. im just going to be working all summer with minecraft on the side, but you diffidently have more things planed.

It's all stuff I simply can't do here at college so they accumulate and get pushed to the summer when I probably will be to lazy to do them all. Minecraft should be especially fun this summer since my boyfriend is planning to set up a server with mods for dinosaurs and Portal. No greater combination has ever been conceived Unfortunately the dinosaur mod is kinda glitchy still...

It's probably not a good idea for us to overdo it on the mods. Aaron's computer can handle it just fine but I can barely manage Minecraft as it is on it's lowest settings.
