They're generaly friendly.. but if you meet one, try not to stare, they have the faces, torso and arms of humans. But their legs are bird, and they have birds wings and tails, and feathers on their heads instead of hair... some times the men have feather beards..

yeah, these are feather-leaf trees, drinking the tea made from a single leaf will turn you into a bird for about a day... with the ammount you've eaten..... it might well be permanent

Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa are da best ^^ if ya havent seen them, do it NOW () and btw, i recommend watching Laputa: the Castle in the Sky in English only after u watch it in Japanese...just so u can then watch it in English and make fun of its atrocious pronounciation and dubbing. xP

Nausicaa of the Valley of the WInd is like... my favorite anime EVER!!! But I like Princess Monoke a lot too! Laputa was pretty cute, but I love Nausicaa best!

you know what is intersting about japanese? even the CHEESIEST comment like: "watch me attack you!" sounds cool in japanese. have they altered our minds through japanese?!?

I think it's just because it all sounds like gibberish, so it's hard to tell the difference, and even if it's a cheesy line, if the voice actor says it cool enough, then it sounds cool.

Yeah, most english dubs on anime suk, with the exception of a very few: Lucky Star, Rurouni Kenshin, FMA, and a few others. I've watched Nausicaa, but I've never heard of Tales of Earthsea...

omg i remember watching the episode in Naruto when the team is going to rescue sauske before he reaches orochimaru and Chji, and neji looked like they died... they're not really two of my favorites just the scenes and stuff leading up to it was so SAD! i like completely teared up thank goodness i wa alone xD

I teared up when I thought Neji was dead, he's one of my favourite characters

@ Serenity: I can never find anything in Japanese when it comes to movies...but I ALWAYS watch Naruto in Japanese. The English dubs are terrible (in my opinion...no offense to anyone). @ Rana: Yeah...Tales of Earthsea really doesn't exist in the US but you can find a British dub on youtube. Just type in Tales of Earthsea if you're ever bored. I think the first few parts of it are more or less an introduction. The parts are only a few min long but they're important. @ Catc: Yeah. That was a really sad part. I didn't tear up but I was freaking out just a little bit. I was like "Chouji and Neji can't die! They're too cool!" I wanted to strangle my computer screen.

I totally fell in love with it!!! <3~Therru!~<3 Although, for a long time in the movie I was determined to hate Arren, until he had that conversation with Therru after her song scene (which was so beautiful and sad... *tears up*)

I don't own any anime, but whenever I go to my friend's house I always want to watch Nausicaa, except that she's watched it so many times taht she's completely bored of it. *sigh* HOw could you ever get bored of Nausicaa and her lovely wing-glider? Honestly!?

I know! When I really like something I tend to watch it over...and over...and over again until I'm completely sick of it! And that usually takes about 20ish overs. One friend of mine can only watch something twice before she gets sick of it. I tell her it's her short attention span, and remarkably, she agrees with me. Oh, but no offense to your friend.
