Thanks, but the artist was actually me; I forgot to send that to the site. OOPS!! I'll have to remember that in the future. Also, I'm not so much of a hard worker as a person who has done very little for a very long time while waiting for a place to put the pictures where people would like them. I hope you got all that!

I almost never finish my drawings...a very baaaad habit of mine, but it's getting better...

I rarely finish my drawings either. It's only when I'm in a good drawing mood that I ever finish any drawing.

My drawings can be the same way. You know the beaked dragon I drew with the flexy spines? I drew only the head at first and finished the neck months later, only after telling myself, "JUST FINISH IT, ALREADY!!!" That's pretty much how it is with me.

ah, ok. Generally I'll just go all around the picture drawing and adding different things until I clean up all the lines and ink it in and decide it's done.

I'm always jealous of people who can do that. My friend does that. All she has to do is start with the eye and th rest can come out in like five to ten minutes. It's annoying. Speaking of which, she will be registering soon. And she will be adding lots of art, including stuff I haven't seen yet. I haven't actually seen her face-to face for more than a year because she lives in another state right now, but we keep in contact through e-mail.

I use to start with the nose and then the jaw line... But sure everybody does have his onw method

I usually start with the head shape, and then add eyes and hair line, and then body, and then so one. However, it takes far longer than 5-10 minutes for me to finish a pic, lol. I still think it's cool that my niece (who is now three months old) has the same name as the great and powerful over lord of dragnix *bows to tempest awesomeness....ness* well, almost the same, her name is spelt Tempestt, with a double t on the end... where as Overlordy Tempest has one....

@Rana Mizu: It's a combination of so many variables that it would be hard to say which one is responsible for that choice. It's a name that is simple and yet elegant (IMHO). But maybe it's because I think violent storms are fascinating and I needed a name at the dawn of the internet that could persist over time; that sounded vaguely draconic but not necessarily viewed as such... So many reasons.

A tempest is an extensive current of wind, rushing with great velocity and violence, and commonly attended with rain, hail, or snow; a furious storm.
Rather fitting, no?

Fun fact: Over time people has started to use that name instead of my real one.

@ Rana: I love making up names too...the problem is, I usually suck at it...lol. @ Tempest: I used to live down south, specifically - tornado alley. I miss the storms there so much...all the lightening, tornadoes, hail...everyone may think I'm crazy, but when you're going through an intense storm like that, there's nothing to describe it. It's terror mixed with fascination, horror, and complete surrender to the forces of nature. It takes your breath away...lol. Wow. I miss it. And in regards to your named usage - awesome. My friends call me tweaked sometimes. It's grown into a rather likeable nickname, but I'm sure they wouldn't use it if they were angry with me...lol. @ Catc: Nice...lol. I've had so many people ask about the origin of my name. It's not because I'm weird or anything (though that might be true...lol) but it hinges on the fact that whenever I play Halo, I throw grenades in unorthodox ways. @ Oreochema: Crates in video games are not my friends.

I think my favorite made up name ever would be either Aeryo or Akurel. I like both of them very much. Also, my best friend calls me Jenu all the time rather than my real name. It's weird, I really view that as my second name.

I have no idea who created the name Oreochema, but I liked it the instant I knew what it meant (and not becasue it sounds like a cookie ): Mountain Winter Storm. I use it for everything; my game profiles, passwords (although I vary the spelling and replace certain characters with numbers or symbols of course), it will even be my alter ego someday, for reasons I cannot reveal here.

I created both my names, Jenu and Rana, but Mizu is the word for water in japanese, and Rana I found out later meant frog, so Jenu is my only original name. I think eventually I shall legally replace my middle name with Jenu, because I don't really like my middle name very much.

i have had the nickname "nayru" for quite a while, so i don't know how i got it. whenever i make up names, i just look at an alphabet and choose which letter to go next. Marchack would probably be my favorite name, but i have made so many others it's hard to choose.

Sometimes I do that too. I generally just stick with the letter A though, lol

@ Nayru: I do the same thing for characters in my stories! I choose a letter that matches that character's personality, then go from there. For example, a knight in one of my stories is named Roglan (ROE-glen).

*thinks* i think my favorite names ive ever made up are Rhuatan and Goroth everytime i think of the name Rhuatan i think of the color red, an everytime i think of Goroth, i think of a big ol bully xD

I've made up Faschti and Kiethni...both are evil blades - though the guard character who carries Faschti has no clue.

My old sword for Jenu was a made up name: Ellidora used Anasil, and Jakara used Drakasil. Sometimes the two would combine to make a very powerful double-sided sword.

Yeah. That didn't happen very often though, because I could never be both Ellidora and Jakara at once unless I was on Kadora. Otherwise, I had to be either the dragon Jenu, or one of my four humanoid personas.

*shrugs* Well, if I could use all my forms at once in the same place I'd be way too powerful. There is no way to stop Ellidora, Jakara, Ulindria, and Jenu all coming at you at the same time.

Yeah, which is why I limited myself to one form at a time. Also, Jakara is the enemy of everyone else, so she never fought along with Jenu and her friends.

my wolf form has the power to absorb anger and that can cross over into any of my forms...ironic thing is that that wolf is the former goddess of death, but she's essentially powerless now TT_TT

Yups. Hearing about everyone's characters inspires me more than you know.

Well...Hadina is rather an interesting form of my character, since she's my half sister, and shared my mind for a while, but she's very independent and mysterious, it's hard to tell whether she is evil or not. She also has a lot of weapons to fight supernatural creatures, but not so many for flesh and blood creatures, plus she used to practice her spell-weaving in the Void, a very perilous thing to do and yet she lives.

A very mysterious and somewhat scary character, Rana. Me likes.

Well, I like being able to have a bad guy character somewhere that I could use, and since Rana has no affiliation with Jakara, I used Hadina, her half-sister, instead.

I would like to get more creative with my own things, but I like to keep them about as believable as Spider-man. Each of my stories (except one) has a factor in it that connects it to the real world, kind of like the genetically engineered spider in the Spider-man movie.

lolz! Hmm...Ardos actually has one VERY tiny tiny link to the real world: Orion. But...you shall have to read Gods of Ardos to find out what that link is. Also, I have not much developed Hadina's character apart from her connection with Rana, so I could very easily include her character in either Alakester or Ardos, or perhaps both. (Alakester being the original home of Rana, Ardos being the planet on which my masterpiece story takes place)

Hmm...well, thanks. Alakester is the fourth planet in the solar system surrounding the sun Andrem, preceded by Mendu, Kadora, and Ardos. Behind it is Eliester, the planet where my video game takes place. Mendu is a strange planet, home to only one species of cannibalistic creature...and ants. All of it is desert but for one long winding river, where all the animals live. Kadora is where Jenu lives, and from there on out each planet has its own specific story.

Oh that's cool...kinda like a science fiction/fantasy...

complicated crap, but there are basically six or seven characters that could be involved. First three have to at least play some part, but here they are: Shihaishya (to be changed), a girl of around 25 yrs of age; Serenity, the dragon; Soulfire, Serenity's sister; Rhuatan, Serenity and Soulfire's brother; Draal, the god of death, and Hitsuji, a friend of Serenity's

there's a war between these six gods/goddesses: Goddess of Water (creator of a race of tiger-fish mixes) and the God of Machines (creator of the friggin humans)
VS
the God of Fire (creator of dragons) and the God of Earth (creator of bear/lion/bull mixes) and the Goddess of the Sky, and the God of Magic (creator of the magical anthropomorphic wolves)

And here's what i have so far...feel free to make suggestions or feedback: Shihaishya and Serenity narrowly escaped the battle that had killed two of their dear friends. When Serenity was left without a body to return to, and was temporarily forced to resie within shihaishya, they immediately began searching for Hitsuji. They found him and, with him, they restored Serenity's body, but their strength faltered and Serenity and Shihaishya's minds were melded for good, making so that they would forever have to share one body, but would be able to willingly alternate between their forms. Shortly afterwards, Hitsuji and Serenity were ambushed by dragonhunters, but with very little experience in switching bodies, Serenity/Shihaishya was not able to switch into her human form to make peace with the fellow humans. They fled at Hitsuji's command and presumed him dead, as a dragon against three dragonhunters stood a very little chance of survival. Grieving, they wander around and eventually come upon a dragon raiding party in the middle of slaughtering a human town. there, Serenity and Soulfire make eye contact, and are quite astonished to be seeing each other, for they have not seen each other for a good 17 years (ever since Soulfire ran away as a hatchling). As Serenity flees, Soulfire pursues. They get in a small skirmish when Soulfire tries to recruit Serenity in the dragon war effort. But Serenity is trying to chase her sister off because she knows how much of a monster she (Serenity/Shihaishya) is, but despite her efforts, the naive soulfire refuses to give up. Finally, Shihaishya emerges and threatens to kill her. Soulfire sees only a fragment of the darkness her sister is/knows and she returns the dragon camp without another word.

and that's as far as i have so far. sisters in disagreement...shihaishya not really caring in the least...oh, and btw, i sorta want to have the ending involving Shihaishya and Serenity somehow stopping the war. I dont really care if your ideas or suggestions have me kill off any characters. i am a heartless person to my slaves-of-characters. *cracks whip* Hitsuji! D8< get me some lemonade now! and btw, luv ya! :3 <---lololol randomness

HOLY CRAP was that long -.-' here is the very cut-down version of the story...im leaving out a lot of interesting details, but that would take me another five hours to explain and might make u five times as confused...and i dont even blame u if u didnt even read half of this comment...

So...wait? Is the story about the war of the gods, or about the "dragon war" (is that somehow connected to the war of the gods) or is it about the adventures of Serenity and Shihaishya? Which exactly is the story trying to follow? Also, why is Shihaishya evil, or when did she train in the ways of darkness? And what does Soulfire have to do with the dragon war? I know I sound really confused, but I actually get what you're talking about, I just need to know this stuff so I can see where the story is going. Also, this is kinda obvious, but Histuji isn't dead. Idk if you thought he was dead or not, but he isn't. He doesn't have to reappear ever if you don't want him, but characters don't just die when you turn your back on them. That's Rule #1. Rule #2 is: You can never kill a character by throwing them down a pit. It just doesn't work, they never die!

Well each race has its own god, and that war is mainly taking place between the creators of humans and dragons. So those two races feel that they should help out their god somehow, so theyre attacking each other. The story is mainly about Serenity and Shihaishya because they're pretty much inseparable. And Shihaishya originally was called Thera, but once her family was killed, she took up the name of Shihaishya and hated all humans. Soulfire is a dragon and since humans killed her parents, she felt that she should get some kind of revenge, so she joined the draconic 'army' at a very young age. And yeah, i figured that Shihaishya/Serenity were just confused...i guess i'll figure out a way to make Hitsuji's death more believable (or i can just really make him die--i just wanted to keep my options open)

Hmmm...could you make Serenity loyal to the human's side somehow? If you did, that would make the entire story (and the war for that matter) far more interesting. As for Hitsuji...if you can make a character strong enough to create a complete new being for a lost sentience, even if that sentience is tied to another, then I think you can find some other equally necessary and powerful purpose for him.

Well, first of all, if Serenity WAS to be more loyal to the human side...why would she be? Or, if she's not is there any way to have a character who IS loyal to the human side?

well...an injured dude who is for the human side is accidentally brought into the dragon camp, where Serenity/Shihaishya ends up when she is looking for Soulfire again (for some reason i have yet to decide). She grows attached to him. Some random drama occurs and Serenity gets sick of the war and decides to stop it. But now i'l just have to figure out how she goes about doing this...a relatively easy task. So thats it but i gots more details of it in mah head. i may decide i dont like this ending....thats my only concern right now....

Well, if you don't like the ending, you can either continue until you get a good ending, or you can stop at a good enough respite before the ending, where the war hasn't ended, but the main characters are in a decent position.
