Many many many new pics have been uploaded, a couple of rps have started and finished, I left as Jenu and came back as Rana, Akira left, Menmenth left, BabyD left, JD mostly left, as did Dragonspice and a couple other oldies. Also noobies has come on *they hasn't been initiated in the proper way of pink tutus and rubber chickens hint hint* and ummm...yeah. Same craziness as always! That's what I really love about this place, people come and go but the randomness and dragons and the loving always stay the same. ^-^ *ish in happy mood*

lol. I have multiple personas myself now. My two main are of course Kelsey (Reptilia) and Morsus, but I've also got a few others now I may use or even rp as some time. Its hard to stick with one fursona you're whole life...kinda boring, especially when your mind is continually thinking up new charries all the time

My main ones are Jenu and Rana, but both have several different sub-charries with their own unique powers and skillz

none of my charries really have other forms...deffinate ones anyway. Reptilia, as I preffer to call her so I don't sound more insane than I really am, can shapeshift, but her only sub charrie would be the demon Tarveka, maybe the reincarnate spirit, Drakara, but thats it. Usually if I want a new character, I invent a new one entirely. different origin, world, species, everything...trouble is, I tend to invent more than I can write the stories of so they go through revisions so many times I sometimes even forget their stories

As you know, Jenu has four characters, her own world, plus other sub-charries that help her out, such as Comoni, the Shadow, and Redwing and Dusty. Rana has three charries, although one of them is sorta semi gone (but she can come back whenever), and she also has several pets as helpers

Search 'Eric Daniel'. You'll find it. However, it's just the second half of the argument. Taluscion created a lot of the best rps (in my opinion) on the form (or 'message board') of Dragnix. Just go to the forum and look through the rp archive, you'll find them. And as for the redesigning, I can't remember exactly when it changed. It wasn't too long after I signed on, though.

@Rana Mizu: The gallery was redesigned a few times.
The first version didn't allow comments and I had to do everything manually (creating thumbnails and coding in each new drawing). The second version was a major redesign that allowed comments and was a bit more automated. However, that version used text files to store the picture information and comments so as the number of comment increased (exponentially!), the system crashed... twice.
Another complete redesign later in July 2005, the gallery is now using a database that can handle a lot more activity and is a lot easier to manage.

Shweet! @Ersska: I've actually checked out the roleplay section of the forums, but it moves MUCH more slowly there than it does here, after I commented throughout the forum mine were the last comments for about a week...which is way too slow for impatient me. Plus, I didn't know the people there like I do here, so it was far less comfortable, and I in general like this gallery setup rather than the forum setup. Plus, one doesn't get to see awesome piccies all the time on the forum. So I guess I just like this place better. *shrugs* We can always start an rp here though!

@Rana Mizu: Most people on the forum have jobs and school to deal with, so yeh, it moves slowly. Plus, the old group is disappearing from the forums. n00bs are stepping in. And a lot of the good rp creators are growing frustrated and have already left. But those that remain are worth giving a chance. Also, there is an artistic section on the forum. So you can post pics and poems and whatever else on there.

I've found numerous posts on here that state what I am. I've told you that I frequently play on the rp board, so my character profile is on there too. I also took the time to visit your dA page, providing you with a link to my dA page, where a picture and bio of me is posted! All of this information has been right in front of you, at your disposal. It just takes a little digging. I hate to break it to you, elfy, but your opponents are not going to always introduce themselves and lay out their weaknesses for you to use against them. I'm not trying to be a *itch about this, but I'm not stepping into a battle and going, "My name is Ersska, and I'm a ____. My weaknesses are _____, ______, and _____. Use them as you wish.". The only way I have the upper hand is because I haven't revealed what I am. Because I have gone through this kind of thing plenty of times before. I know that just as soon as I tell what I am and any weaknesses, whoever I'm fighting will somehow manage to summon, create, or do what I'm weak against, even if it is not in their power to do so. that's one of the reason I left the site. Too many n00bs came in and decided that they would have absolute power and no weaknesses. And that, obviously, gets annoying and ruins everybodies fun. I do promise that I have not done anything that is not within my power to do, and I do have weaknesses, though they are few. I may seem omnipotent, but I am not, although I am a deity. I will not reveal what I am until you have at least attempted to find it yourself. But I will give you a clue as to where I am.

OOC: No problem. I just wanted you to know that I wasn't trying to be stuck up or *itchy about everything. Nagas are part of Indian mythology. They are very in tune with nature. And it upsets them with "ignorant humans" destroy the land around them. So, the nagas retaliate. They are able to control if it rains, if there is a drought (the mass evaporation), or they can simply turn the water to poison (a trick that i have yet to use;-)). They are also able to ensure a plentiful harvest or take it away, as well as causing diseases (the boils) and other calamities. Female nagas (naginis) are said to be very beautiful and often lure men into dens to eat them (ersska uses hypnosis). (as a little side note, no naga has ever been slain by a hero in mythology, and also, one of the naga kings is said to have actually sheilded buddha from the rain by turning into a giant cobra and wrapping around him. cool, huh?) Nagas also have many forms that they can take, but I'll let that be a surprise for later. Oh, and as for the hole, it's a cave. Myths claim that many nagas traveled underground. The caves in southern Asia are believed to have been formed by traveling nagas. It's all pretty interesting stuff. If you want to read up on it some more, just google "naga mythology" (make sure to include the word "mythology"). The first site that pops up on the list should be the wikipedia page. I ignore that one. Most of my information comes from the next four websites on that list. I can send you the links if you want. (and if you're wondering, by telling you that, i just gave away a ton of information)
Also, I was wondering, if you use the water from your body to attack, wouldn't that weaken you? I mean, you sucking much needed water out of your body (that runs mostly on water and needs a LOT of water). So wouldn't that leave you a little dehydrated and weak? I'm not trying to tell you how your character sure act, I'm just wanting to know how she pulls it off.

Also, as for Rana using attacks from water from her body, she is very often overhydrated, meaning she has more water than her body needs at any one time. Plus, whenever she uses an attack she always sucks the water back into her bady as much as she can. The emblem in her forehead also holds a vast store of water energy, true silver, and a rare jewel that she can use at will. Mizu as well helps restore some of Rana's lost water energy in battle, at the very minimum keeping her at least alive, but often helping much more than that. *looked at all the sites* Gosh dang it! The only weakness is unicorns and even Nera could have summoned a unicorn! *glares into space* Since moving from Alakester I have no more connection with unicorns...that stinks! Also, one more thing, are you an earth based or water based naga? Basically, I need to know if you have gills or lungs. The purple one will block all transport of blood, air, and water throughout the body, no matter what beast it touches. The green one will nullify the mind, allowing you to bend it to your will, but its power is only as strong as your own mind is. The red one paralyzes all movement for a short time. *Rana nods, and pulls the spheres into the jewel at the pommel of Mizu* *she then steps into the hole, dropping into the cave below*
OOC: Ok, I've looked at your profile on the message board, and I've looked at all the sites, and the only weakness ever mentioned is unicorns. Is there any element or attack or whatever that a Naga is weak against?

OOC: Wow, those spheres seem powerful enough on their own! I don't need any weaknesses! Haha! Ersska does not have gills. Nagas are snakes after all, not fish. Snakes are at home in the water just as much as they are on land, so I can see why you would be confused. But remember, nagas mainly deal with the rain or lack thereof. And while it says that they control whether the harvest is good are not, I contribute that to their decision on how much water to supply to the plants. I'm not quite sure what the diseases would fall under. As for weaknesses, I'm really not sure what else there is. I know the Garuda bird is their mortal enemy. But in all honesty, I'm still learning about nagas myself. I created Ersska and thought I had invented something new, but someone later pointed out to me what Ersska really was. So, my great and wonderful "new" creation was actually something that had been around for quite a while. Kinda funny, huh? And while it doesn't appear that nagas have many enemies, I've given Ersska a few extra little quirks. Not exactly things that will hurt her or kill her, but things that she is afraid of. And since she is a snake, you can probably think of a few things that might fall into that category.
IC: *cobra ersska watched as the elf dropped down into the cave* *ersska continued to slither along with the other cobra, waiting to see what rana would do next*

OOC: Well...basilisks are afraid of chickens, but unless I'm already near a chicken, a unicorn, or a Garuda bird, I have no power to summon any of those creatures. Darn! Anyway, being an Indian demi-god, I'm sure you can find some way to counteract the spheres. Also, as a random note, were you condemning me or praising me for bringing extra help? IC: *as Rana falls into the huge cavern, she creates a small platform to slow her descent* *seconds pass as Rana searches the dark cave for any sign of movement, her face begins to show the slightest hint of wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, growing only minutely deeper as time passes on* *rana can see for a short distance due to Mizu's mild blue glow, but slowly, it darkens to its normal silver color* *meditating deeply, Rana brings forth light once again from her sword, even brighter than before* *at the very fringes of Mizu's light, Rana sees two snakes slithering away* *turning off the light, Rana dashes towards the snakes, drawing back Mizu for a mighty blow*

OOC: Chickens are lunch! Stop thinking mythologically. Think about it: what did you say nagas reminded you of? But then again, that's something that you would have to summon as well. You just have to use your imagination. As for the calling of friends, I was doing neither. It simply caught me off guard. I didn't see it in your profile (then again, i just scanned through it), so I wasn't expecting it. And as for my serpent aid, it was a mass summoning spell. You can still find snakes in the desert. I didn't mean for it to be snakes appearing out of then air.
IC: *cobra ersska quickly lunges out of the way of rana's sword* *ducking around and behind rana, ersska transforms back into her human form* *as rana's sword strikes the other cobra, ersska lets out a loud shriek as if in pain* *enraged, ersska draws her elbow blades and charges rana, her eyes and tongue still those of a snake* *ersska strikes hard and quick, giving rana only enough time to turn and parry the blows*
OOC: So Mizu is your sword! (i must have overlooked that little tidbit too. . .)

OOC: Erm...I said they reminded me of Rikki Tikki Tavi...--_o Have you seriously seen that movie? Are you honestly referring to a mongoose?? Wow...I thought I was the only one who watched that movie... And yes, Mizu is my sword. You really must have given my profile the very quickest of scans...do you know what happens when I am fully submerged in water?? IC: *rana draws full upon her elfen speed, hoping desperately to match the speed of the cobra* *parrying the elbow blades, Rana waits for Ersska's overbearing force to fade, then shoves upward, slicing deeply just above the nostrils* *Rana jumps backward, adding a super sharp edge to her blade with water, allowing it to cut through steel, then charges forward, slicing clean through Ersska's elbow blades*

OOC: No, I haven't seen the movie, but I have read part of the book. And yes, I am honestly referring to a mongoose. I just mainly looked for skills and powers in your profile, but I did see that you could turn into a mermaid. Haha! You think Ersska's 'overbearing force' has faded? She's just getting started. (she really is kinda crazy. you should read some of the other battles and rps that i have used her in) Oh, and fyi, Ersska doesn't have cobra fangs at the moment. She's in her human form, but with snake eyes and a forked tongue. No fangs. So I'm going to start at the part where you break my blades. Ok?
IC: *ersska throws what's let of her blades at rana, one of the broken blades hits her shoulder, the other one slices her ear as it passes* *ersska charges again, this time bearing fangs and aiming for rana's neck* *rana dodges the attack and attempts to stab ersska* *ersska spins to the side, the blade simply nicks her on the side as she manages to avoid the full force of the blow* *ersska quickly transforms into her naga form, changing her lower half into that of a snake and leaving her upper half as human* *lashing out with her long, scaly tail, ersska grabs rana's wrist, squeezing and twisting it, forcing rana to drop her sword* Murderer! You killed him! You killed him! *ersska shrieks at rana, lifting her off the ground by her wrist and shaking her, then tossing her across the cave like a rag doll*
OOC: I told you she's crazy! Sorry it took me so long to finish typing. I'm participating in two other rps right now, so I'm trying to keep up with everybody.

OOC: Meaning, if you're shoving down on a blade onto someone else's blade, there is ALWAYS a point where your force fades just slightly, enough so that with enough force on the opposite side, they can shove off the overbearing sword. Also, as for the mongoose, if I happened to be in an area where mongooses generally lived, I'm sure I could find one and call them to my aid. As it is, we're very much underground and there are no mongooses around to help. And yes, if I am fully submerged in water, I turn into Ryisha, the mermaid. I wonder if perhaps you could show more some of your better roleplays. I have no life whatsoever so I'd be interested in reading them, lol. Sorry about the fang thing, I thought snake tongue = snake mouth, my bad.
As a complete side note, I'm really enjoying this rp. I love testing my skillz agianst someone who is also really good. Too bad I'm not actually getting any actual exercise with this though...lol.

OOC: Ha ha! I went ahead and went along with the whole bite attempt, and you went back and changed your post! Oh well. . .And I realize tha we are underground and that there are no mongoose/mongeese/mongooses/whatever around. That's were the whole "use your imagination" comment comes into play.

OOC: If I did I wouldn't tell you. Like I told Oreo earlier, one shouldn't post personal information on an open website like this, where anyone can find it and use it. But no, I do not have Yahoo Messenger. And, by the way, you MADE me kill the other cobra! I gave you PLENTY of opportunity to make the other cobra avoid the blow. I really don't think I should be held responsible for that... IC: *Rana barely manages to cushion her fall with an orb of water, before she stands up and calls Mizu back to her aching hand, holding it aloft* *she speaks out with a booming voice* Who did I kill? A snake? You killed an entire forest, with no thought towards the lives inhabiting it! Should a snake count more than a tree, or a squirell, or a bird? Should the life of one creature be held above the life of an entire forest, to be given or taken at will? I think it is you who are the killer, NAGA! You think you are a goddess but you are not! You murder innocent lives, you destroy the land and the field and the stream, you would kill anything in your, path, you would kill ME if I gave you the chance! Who is the murderer here?!

OOC: I well aware of what I did or could do.
IC: *ersska glared at rana* I am no goddess. . .I am no murderer. . .The animals left. They still live. The plants have naught but to grow again. But if it's life you want, then water you shall HAVE! *suddenly the sound of rushing water filled the cavern and a trickle of water fell down through the entrance* *laughing, ersska wrapped her tail around one of the staligmite just as a huge wave of water rushed through the cavern*
OOC: Sorry if my post seems kinda dumb or like a half-@ssed attempt, but I'm sleep deprived at the moment.

OOC: Dude...you should not have done that. *giggles* I'll PWN you now!!! IC: *Rana dives into the rushing water, immediately transforming into Ryisha, the mermaid* *Drawing the water with both hands, Ryisha creates a bubble around herself, and then creates huge waves out of the remaining water which batters against the stalagmite again and again* *the waves weaken Ersska's hold on the stalagmite, cracking it open, and knock Ersska nearly senseless* *then, with a huge uplift of her arma, Ryisha forces al the water to the top of the cave, then, dropping her hands, it all crashes down again, directly onto Ersska, knocking her completely off the stalagmite* *then, clapping both hands together, Ryisha pushes all the water into Ersska, through her mouth, through her nostrils, through her eyes, into every available cavity in her body, forcing the air out and holding her to near complete suffocation* Ryisha: Surrender snake! I have won. OOC: I actually have, btw. You're mostly unconscious and you really CAN'T breathe. Ryisha can hold the water as long as it takes to make you drown. Also, you're comment isn't dumb or half- @ ssed...it just gives me all the power now. What could you do with that water anyway? Drown me? I already told you I can't drown.

OOC: I know what I am doing. And I know I can't drown you, you're a water elemental, duh! By the way, you're forgetting one important thing: Ersska also has control of the water. You didn't the that I would recklessly give you all the power.Don't assume that Ersska is helpless under the water. She can create shields just as well as Rana can.
IC: *during all the battering, ersska had created a shield of water around herself and had taken on very little damage* *what ryisha penetrated was the shield and not ersska herself* *seeing her shield failing, ersska threw it forward, pushing water and shield in ryisha* *a brown cloud followed the shield and spread quickly throughout the water as ersska released poison, turning the water toxic* *slightly weakened, ersska dove towards the cave wall burrowing into it and quickly disappearing* *ersska burrowed to the surface, once there, she dug into the ground right above the cave, weakening it and causing it to collapse in on top of ryisha*
OOC: You know, you really shouldn't tell people when or how they are suppose to die. So far, I've let you decide Rana's reaction to everything because I knew there was no way that I could know what you would do next. I could have easily said you were dead or dying after Ersska threw you against the wall (or even after what i just did), but I didn't. Maybe that's my problem. Maybe I should just start crushing everyone within the first three posts. . .God-moding might be fun. . .

OOC: I'm sure God-moding would be fun, but I'm not. Drowning someone is quite within both Rana's and Ryisha's power, plus you mentioned that you breathe air, and you didn't say anything about creating a water shield. You just brought a ton of water into the cave. Also, you HAVE controlled my actions, when you made me kill the snake. I did not realize that it was impossible for me to control your actions slightly either. My bad I suppose. IC: *Ryisha dives out of her water bubble immediately after Ersska poison's it, coming out too quickly to be affected greatly by the poison* *turning into Rana, she chases after ersska, following her tunneling until she comes out to the surface, just after Ersska had dived into the ground again above the cave* *feeling the earth quake beneath her, Rana jumps onto a water tightrope and flies away towards Hadina, who is now ready and prepared for battle* Hadina: Well...that was quick. Did you finish her off? Rana: *gasping for breath at Hadina's side she wheezes out* No...she's still here...*suddenly, the earth quakes again, and Ersska pops out of the ground only a few feet away, completely in Naga form and enraged* Hadina: Hooo boy! *pulling out her wand, a bright silvre glow shines at the end of it* Aren't you done yet, snake? Will your thirst for revenge never end?! OOC: As for size, I'm assuming you were Naga form and I crouched.
