Bwarf, Twilight is an interesant movie, nothing more. Foolish groopies! But the head is funny and the kind of black hair is good
actually, the movie was absolutly horrinle when compared to the books, dont watch the movie, read the books
Uh I agree, actually in many cases when a movie is made from a book, the movie is not as good as the book. But I didn't red Twilight.
Ehh....twilight.....I heard a wee bit to much about it, decided I wasn't into obsessive romance stories where the guy is waaaaaaaaaay too obsessive...and just decided to skip it altogether. Honestly, the obscure stories are the cooler ones. ...like Ender's Game...<3
I agree w/ u, Rana! The stupid fangirls freak me out! Oh, and @ Lilme: The dragon is the Twilight fan. That's what I meant. Srry for the confusion!
<.< >.> well...some could argue that I'm a stupid fan girl...just over slightly more obscure/nerdy guys than harry potter or edward cullen....*coughcoughenderanddoonandedmundcoughcough* At any rate, I am by all means an OBSESSIVE fan girl...XD

@dragonness, ohhhhhh

Obsessive fangirl
![]() |
i'll admit it, obsessive fangirls scare me
![]() |
i knows! it was amazing how they could mess up a movie like that hopefully the second movie will be more accurate!
it seemed to me like whomever wrote the screenplay didn't even read the book. seemed like his twelve-year-old son vaguely described it to him, and he thought it'd make a good movie
That's actually probably what happened...the movie sucked so bad!!!! Anyway, so I just finished reading the most recent installment in the Ender series...and even though I put the book down several times commenting that I WOULD strangle orson scott card, by the end of the book, the ending was so beutiful, he's almost totally fogiven. There are only four things left, but nothing worth strangling him over. @LOM: Evil beware: We have Rana! *shakes obsessive fan girl fist in face* (That's actually a quote from Teen Titans where Raven says 'Evil beware, we have waffles', which is by all means an epic quote.)

Twilight is just a fad (a rather creepy one, I think it brainwashes whoever reads it into worshiping it
![]() ![]() ![]() |
Princess Bride is just about the only love story i've ever liked
![]() |
YUUCK! I hate love stories, give me bloody horror movies anyday @CatC, they can't make a second movie, they screwed the first one up so bad, the second movie wouldn't make any sense
ewewewew. twilight. *barfs and tears it up and then barfs on it again* i hates it. but princess bride is a least funny xD @silveera: *claps* hehehe! someone i can finally agree with :3
i love princess bride, but i have to say that the best love story is Tristine and Isolde is my all time favorite, though it is sad
YAY!!! Another Ender's Game fan!!! *dances* So so so, who's your favorite character?! And how much of the series have you read? Princess Bride is awesome too. I'm kinda glad I ignored Twilight now...*stares warily at Serenity*
The Princess Bride is awesome!!! I <3 that movie! I got the special 20th Anniversery Edition for my brithday! INCONCEIVABLE!!!

i read the books, i liked them, but i dont think i'm brain washed by them.... there not better than harry potter or Orson's books, there not even as good as the dragons of Pern books
I should watch for Penr's books... Just a question guys, am I the only disappointed person about Harry Potter 7 ? I really found the last book was not as good as the others.
wait wait wait...you've read Orson's books...and you call them better than Harry Potter? Granted, the Ender series is amazing, but what with all his crappy endings...how can you like those?!?!
i didn't say that Orsen's books were better than Harry Potter, i said they both were better than Twilight
Everything's better than twilight.
well, granted at that, but mygawd!!! His endings suck SO BADLY!!!! I mean, Bean is STILL flying around in space doing nothing, Peter II hasn't taken over Starways Congress, and Alvin Maker hasn't made the Crystal City PLUS he like randomly lost all his pals in the beginning of last book. Wha....?

Actually, none of those stories were a comedy. They're all actually quite serious. It's just the endings he keeps screwing up...

Yeah...Orson doesn't do much on comedy...he's a much more serious sci-fi author, nothing like Douglas Adams

Dragonness...Dragonness...Dragonness...*shakes head sadly* You...have missed out, on the GREATEST series of all time. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is a book of DREAMS! Of EPIC WINS AND FAILS! Of Mice and Dolphins and ultimate RANDOMNESS!! It is of...the soul of a fun-loving, sci-fi-dreaming, space-exploring-robot-building, computer-geeky nerd! IT IS OF MARVIN AND ZAPHOD AND ARTHUR DENT AND FORD AND SAVING THE WORLD!!! *sighs dreamily* It is amazing...
I must agree that HGttG is pretty awesome but...wow...obsessive much??? O.O *Although I PERSONALLY shouldn't speak at all, considering how I obsess over MULTIPLE things, lol*

Has anyone ever read the bitter bynde trillogy? And I suppose no ones ever read the necroscope series... probably not what you people are into.
ummm...no? What's it about? I might enjoy it, I enjoy a lot of different kinds of books.
@ Deren:

@Rana, well the necroscope series is about a guy who can hear the thoughts of dead bodie, and they are very gory books. I don't get grossed out easily, but the second chapter of the first book was naking me ppretty queazy. And the bitter bynde trilogy is a fantasy story, they're brilliant books. They're about a woman named Imrhein who loses her memories, voice. She travells across the land trying to find out who she is, and ends up falling in love with Angevar, king of the Faeran (something like elves). they are similar to lord of the rings, but the main character is a girl. the books are, The ill-made Mute,The lady of Sorrows and The battle of Evernight and they're writen by Cecilia Dart-Thornton
OH I LOVE THE ENCHANTED FOREST CHRONICLES!!!!!!! The Enchanted Forest is AMAZING and the third book with the donkey is simply made of brilliance. I doubt Deren would like them though...might be too girly for him, idk. @Silveera: Considering the worst horror books I've ever read are Frank Peretti books, I don't think I'd enjoy the necroscope series. However, the bitter bynde series sounds really cool. Oh, has anyone ever read the War of Souls series? My dad gave it to me, and I've yet to actually read them cuz I'm not sure if they're good books or not.
Frank Perretti? My fav book of his was The Oath. If you want freaky, though, you should check out Tedd DekKter. He's awesome!
I have a few favorites from Frank Peretti. Tilly, Hangman's Curse, and Piercing the Darkness are my main favs, but I also really liked Monster and the Oath too. As for Ted Dekker, I tried a couple of his books but I found his writing style very sexist, annoying, macho, and quite gory in some parts, especially with the eye thing in one of his books...the one before Saint.
Showdown? Haven't read it yet, but my Mom was just telling me about that part! LOL! It creeped my Dad out. FP's Hangman's Curse was good! Did you see the movie? Frank Perretti is the professor guy. He's hilarious!
*answers one at a time* I began to read Showdown, then I got to that part and was like "Umm....*slowly puts book down and takes several steps away* Now, if the guy had waited until later in the story to do that, I might have put up with it. I know I've put up with worse, but the problem was that I wasn't really connected to the characters or the story at the first chapter, so I didn't feel obligated to continue. Hangman's Curse was awesome. I totally love the story, the characters, the moral, and the ending!! And yes, I saw the movie, and I noticed that FP played the professor dude, which was AMAZING! That's like the ONLY time I've ever seen the author of the book play a part in their own movie!!! Also, it followed the book really well and was a really good representation of that story. So yes, I loved it!
