Wow! I love how you did the background using simple textures in white, and how you lit everything by simply shading white over it. It shows beautiful body structure, and the colors stand out from the black wonderfully! The color contrasts from the black, allowing it to look more realistic.

Ok, the idea I have is one that I started before, but no one really finished it. THe thing is, is that for most of our rp's, the enemy is weak, or stereotypical, amd defeated easily. So I thought, what if a human magician was so powerful, he could defeat dragons? So, the enemy is an extremely powerful magician, with unknown powers. He is on a quest to destroy the most powerful dragon (Lord Deranor) through an elf who only wants to gain immortality for his wife, who is dying. At the moment, the people in the rp don't know anything, and are hanging around a campfire on a mountain top near a mountain lake. This is where we meet an elf that is being controlled by the magician.

OOC: Let's start then. Remember, we know nothing. IC: Jenu is lying down, relaxing near a mountain lake, casually glancing at the camfire a few feet away. "Ah.... feels nice." she said. Jenu is in the process of drawing water power when she hear a loud crack in the forest. Her head shoots up, and she draws nearer to the friends near the campfire.

*glances around quickly away from the fire* what was that i wonder? *the moon gently raises above the lake's surface*

The source of the noise is soon revealed as a young man/elf steps from the edge of the trees to the clearing around the fire. *The man seems a man of controversy. His ears are those of an elf, his face that of a man. His facial structure is soft, almost kind-looking, with smoot-arching eyebrows and high, soft cheeks. But his his dark black eyes seem cold, suspicious, like tinted windows that won't allow anyone inside. He has shoulder length black hair, dirty and oily like it hasn't been washed for a week. He is moderately tall, and wears a long black cape that covers him all the way to the ankle, and billows and curls around him as he moves, almost like a living thing. His stride is long and purposeful, but his hands shudder as he approaches. He wears a sword around his waist, but he does not seem to wish to use it, and he wears sturdy yet simple boots, made for walking long distances.* Jenu approaches him cautiously, and says, "Why are you here?" The man replies, "I have come to seek shelter, please."

(brb) *stands and observes the man* (be back in about 5-10min. sry..)

OOC: okey dokeys. IC: Jenu nods at the man and says, "We will allow you shelter provided that you make no move to harm any dragon here, understood?" The mon nods and replies, "I had no intention of doing so. I accept your offer humbly, and wish that you mighty creatures will isten to my story and plea this night that you may think to offer your help to a hapless elf like me." Jenu nods again, and leads the man to the fireplace, cautious as she does so that the man is at all times in her view.

OOC: okays i'm back IC: i don't trust him very well, but perhaps after his story we'll be able to judge Well pull up a spot, the night's still young

OOC: CATC!!!! *cries* Nighthawk doesn't like me anymore! *huggle* IC: The man sits down, and looks at everyone around the campfire. "My name is Eron. I am on a quest, but it shall be easier to show you my story than tell you. If you would into the fire, please..." Everyone diverts their glance into the fire, and watch as Eron's story is told through the images in the fire. A young boy, playing in the woods, meets a young girl. They play and laugh, and suddenly the story speeds up, going through years in minutes. As the story glances over the years, a feeling of deep love grows, and contentment. Suddenly, after several years have passed, the story slows down again. The woman that Eron loves is in a bed, looking very pale and sickly. The contentment slowly disappears and is replaced by a nagging anxiety and despair, while the love continues to grow stronger and stronger as the woman grows sicker and sicker. Finally, in a final desperate act, the man goes to the wise-man of the village, who is known to be more cruel than kind when giving his fellow villagers advice. He tells Eron to go find a dragon, and kill it, for dragons are the only creatures with the secret to immortality. [i/] Jenu draws back and glares at Eron. "What do you mean by this!" she yelled. Eron nodded at the flames, and Jenu grudgingly looked back. The wise-man gave Eron directions to a very specific dragon, and sent Eron on his way with an evil grin and a new cloak. Then several weeks pass, and suddenly a sign appears. "You may go not further unless you are a dragon or in the company of a dragon. If you fail to heed this warning, you will be killed instantly." More weeks passed, until the flame shows Eron stumbling upon us and thinking "Thay are my only hope. I must heal my wife!"

OOC: *huggles jenu* maybe she's just having a bad day, that's all IC: wow how sad and what a story! so your quest has to do with your wife, right?

OOC: maybe... but she doesn't have to take it all out on me... IC: Eron nods. "Do not fear, I have no intention of killing you for the sake of the spell that the wise-man told me about. He said that only one dragon would work, and that was the dragon that I must find and kill. Truly, I hate the thought, for I admire dragons greatly, but I will do anything for my wife." Jenu nods, then asks, "Can you tell us more about that wise-man of yours? What's he like?" Eron ponders this for a moment and replies, "Well, he first came to our village because of our extensive library..." OOC: You continue, catc.

(continue what the man is saying? ) OOC: hey i think i remember this rp! IC: what do you mean to kill a dragon that is so how do you say it? horrible...no that doesn't even discribe it! No one should kill a dragon they are wonderful and peaceful creatures that love to live in peace.

Eron bowed his head mournfully. "I know. Like I said, I admire dragons greatly, and I wish above all else that there was some other way to heal my wife. But none appears, and frankly, I love my wife more than any dragon, so I shall do what must be done. Will you accompany me to Lord Derenor's cave?" he asks pleadingly

(sry dad had to use the comp) what do you think jenu? i'm kinda unsure.....like there's just something about him, but i just can't put my finger on it...

OOC: Sorry catc, kinda talking to nighthawk at the moment. IC: I don't know. I don't really like helping him kill another dragon, but it wouldn't hurt to accompany him a little way. Let's wait until tomorrow to decide. OOC: seriously, let's wait until tomorrow, 'k?

sounds good to me if you want to stop....dad keeps having to print stuff out oh and it's okay, i just got back on IC: i agree we should wait til moring that'll give us sometime to contemplate

OOC: ok. IC: "All right then," Jenu says. "Eron, you sleep here..." Jenu points to an out of the way spot surround by leaves and twigs. "And catc and I will sleep near the fire, alright?" Eron nods, and moves away to his assigned spot. Jenu and Catc then decide individually whether they should go with Eron or not, and eventually fall asleep.

*softly snores every now and then*

*sleeps with small sensors hovering about, to make sure that everyone is safe all night*

*the crickets softly chirp and the moon slowly descends into the horizon and the sun starts to peak out from behind the mountians, illuminating the lake in a soft orange glow*

*birds start to chatter noisily*

*i semiconciously hurl a nearby stone at one of the birds and mumble* darn birds...always waking at dawn.....zzzzzzzz

*one gets hit and it shrieks*

*smiles* much better.....zzzzzzz

*the bird stumb;es up and fluffs it's feathers and goes over and pecks me on the snout* ow.....*i roll over and ignore it* (as you can see i am quite the morning person )

Jenu wakes up and walks over to catc, trying to nudge her awake. "Hey, wake up. Have you decided yet?"

*begrudgingly wakes up* wha? oh ya, i'm not sure i want to help, but i still can't trust him fully, how about you? *stretches and stands and looks over to the stil sleeping Eron*
