yes we should probably walk....*as we walk towards the ruins the wind picks up momentum* geez! it's like we're not suppossed to go there!

creepy... *turns to human form, cutting wind resistance* ahh, that's better... *as we near the old ruins, the wind abruptly stops* ???? *a low growl is heard from inside the ruins*

did you hear....* a set of bright yellow eyes can be seen and i nudge dspice and slowly nod towards them*

*i turn to look* *i take a step back* great... *kneels down, unstrapping my daggers*...creepy eyes with creepy wind in creepy ruins... *i crouch down, ready if the eyes and whatever is attached decides to attack* *the eyes blink and a voice is heard* i want you two to come in and meet my family, for we have not had visitors in a long time. *a creature crawls from the shadows: it is a large rat, and it has feathered wings and a snake-like tail* *a serpentine tongue flicks out of her mouth* (yes it's a girl )

*Rat smiles and scurries over to her children* *they are crying from the loud thinder and driving rain* me: *wants to go over and huggle them to death* *Rat tries to comfort them, but it's not working* *i walk over to one of the baby rat-dragon things and make a small flower for it* *the baby smiles and giggles*

*walks over towards the babies and forms a solid starlike ice-toy that won't melt and hands it to a baby and he calms down*

*Rat grins* thank you both so much... (oh, catc? are you in dragon or human form?)

(im in human form ) *Rat lays down, her babies quiet, and opens an eye to look at us* you may lie down if you wish. we can eat tomorrow. me: last time i checked, it was only noon...

ya i think it was, but maybe she has a reason....well, i guess the best thing to do is wait out the storm and lie down and wait so wat is life like in the ruins? i can't say that i've been here before.....

*Rat opens both her eyes and rolls over to face us* it is nice, though we must be in our houses when it rains. me: what for? Rat: the Great Waterbeast comes out when it rains. it is he that causes the rain. you see, long ago this place was home to all of us rat-dragons. we lived in peace in a beautiful city. however, the Great Waterdemon was jealous of us and he destroyed our city and trapped us inside. some have escaped, but they have not returned. we still have hope of being rescued, and there is even a prophecy that tells of two dragons coming to help us. (rat thinks we're only human.) *Rat sighs* but i am not one to believe in prophecies... *she rolls on her other side and is soon asleep*

*whispers softly* do you think that we're the two dragons? that's so sad.... we definately should help her.....then maybe the others will come back.

*whispers back* yes, i think we should help wether we're the dragons in the "prophecy" or not.

definately well should we get some rest until 2marrow or wat should we do?

*stretches* let's rest... *i lay down next to a rock* well, this should be interesting.... *the rain outside seems to come down harder*

*the morning does not come warmly* *it is VERY cold outside, and the floor of the cave is soaking wet... along with all the creatures sleeping on it* *the cave didn't offer much protection... i slowly wake up, shivering* *a loud roar is heard outside the cave* *Rat wakes immidiently and looks around worriedly*

*hearing the roar, i jolt awake and notice the wet surroundings* well, we could posibly be wetter.... what was that!?!?

*Rat is shivering... from the cold?* t-that is the roar of the Great Waterbeast! *she scurries to the front of the cave and warily looks out* h-he always comes around after his storms to take a captive for himself... i think he's coming this way! me:

(tis okays! ) let's see if the Great What's-his-face comes here first, then we'll go all prophecy-dragon on him! *Rat scurries back and hugs her children at the far end of the cave*

yeah, we'll be here. *another loud roar is heard* *a large blue snake sticks his head inside the cave* *his eyes are pure orange and he has a large crest running down his back from his head* *i kneel down and unstrap my daggers, just in case* *Rat is shaking terribly* G-great Wat-terbeast.. *the large serpent laughs evily* yes, tis i, and i have chosen you're daughter there- *he points to one shaking rat-dragon baby*- and i will not take no for an answer. me: ready catc? *catc and i just now realize the cave is too small for us to go dragon* ><' darn it...

yes! oh darn! the cave is too small! ummm just slowly slide one of your daggers over and maybe we can get him out of the cave and then turn into our dragon forms.....we should distract him so that Rat and her family can be out of harms way.... *is feircely staring at the snake*

right... *i slide catc a dagger* *the snake's eyes flick towards us* well well, what have we here? two very small humans with little sticks? *laughs* i will eat you two for an appetizer, then i'll have the rat-dragon... *he roars, shaking the cave walls, and launches for catc*

HOLY!!!!!!!!! *i dodge away and slam the dagger into his face* hahah! did it work?[/i}

*the serpent cries out in pain, swinging his head side to side* *the dagger is tuck in his snout* come on! *i grab catc's arm and pull her outside, strapping my one dagger back on my ankle* *i turn to dragon form and roar* *Rat slowly crawls out to see what's up*

wow it worked! *turns to dragon form and is bright red and roars but it is over rode with the serpent's roar as he thrashes out of the cave, causing rocks to tumble down and a dust to rise* well, let the battle begin!, as they say....

*smirks* this'll be easy! *Rat looks out from the cave in awe* y-you were the prophetic dragons all along?! *the serpent roars, taking the dagger out of his face and throwing it on the ground* *he roars in anger and thund/lightning spark across the sky*

whoa! i think he has anger management problems! and yes this shall be easy! don't worry Rat! u and ur family will be safe! * then stare at the serpent waiting for his next move*

*serpent roars* *lightning strikes the ground right next to us* wow... *the serpent tackles me to the ground, nearly burying me in the dirt* *he slithers off me and charges for catc, fangs flashing...*

(heellloo! *glompers* *laughs* well, well well! controls storms, eh?)

(JADE! *glompers back* wanna join our rp? we're fighting a "great waterbeast" who can, if catc hasn't noticed already, can controll storms. he's after Rat, a dragon-rat who's protecting her adorable children. wanna join? do ya do ya do ya?! )

(hellos jade!*glompifies back* ) dspice are u okay? *prepares for his attack and takes a deep breath and is about to blow, but the serpent is too fast and he slams into me and the air just wooshes out,* darn...omph!!

(@ jade: yups, control storms!) *i stand up and launch for the serpent, digging my claws into his back*

(mwahahhaha, i can control storms too! but not to that degree... ) *creeps in and blows a star into his face*

(kick booty jade! you too catc! ) *the serpent roars and turns into water, the ground soaking him up* 0.o wha...???

*i regain myself and breathe in again and let out a red flame that scorches at his belly scales*

*looks around* I didn't do it!!

*the rain starts slowly coming down* oh great... could it get any worse?

(oh nevermind! slow computers suck!) *looking around* whoa were did he go?

*sniffs* i really hope the rain isn't something lethal..*peers outside*

(hee hee i know where you're comin' from! ) *the rain pours down heavily* *we wait in the rain for a couple of minutes, but nothing happens* *i sigh* well, what now? *lightning strikes nearby*

wait! watch out for the lightning! he may try to strike with it!

good point... *lightning strikes 4 feet away* okaaay, i think we should get back in the cave... (oh, btw jade, Rat and her babies live in a cave, but it's too big to house us in dragon form.)

that was a close one and that is a good idea, but how will we fight?

(aww bye jade! *glomps*) *i turn to catc* we can fight inside the cave! peice of cake! *i turn to dragon form and, picking up the other dagger, walk into the cave*

(bye jade! *glomps*) okay! *walks into cave and prepares to fight*

*i hold one dagger in each hand and kneel, waiting for the serpent to attack* *Rat comes up and taps catc's shoulder* you are dragons?! both of you?!

oh yes Rat, we were afraid that we may put you in danger.... speaking of which, you should get urself and your babies out of here to some where safe, it wil be very dangerous in a minute or two!!!

Rat: but there is no safe place! i have no where to go, and even if i did run- *the ground rumbles and the serpent springs up from beneath us, in water form at first, but then he materializes into flesh and bone* *he throws a giant water ball at me which traps me inside* *the serpent roars and charges for catc*

here we go again! *quickly takes a breathe and breathes a red hot flame at the serpent and scorches his scales*

*the serpent swerves to the right, screeching in pain* *i slice the water ball holding me, but it doesn't bust* *i blow bubbles, trying to get catc's attention*

*while the serpent is distracted, i go over to dspice and claw at the bubble, but it doesn't work* hold on..... * i breathe a light ice mist and freeze a smaller hole and hit it and a small hole appears....but the serpent stirs and looks at us* punch the walls and it should break!

*i swing my arm as if to punch the wall, but the serpent, with a flick of his tail, moves the ball of water high into the air and forms it back into pure water* *i gasp for air, bubbles coming from my mouth* *the serpent leaps up and tackles catc*

YOU.....!* i scratch feircely at the serpent as he tackles me to the floor and i glance at dspice and struggle to get to her.....* will the walls budge?

no, and... i'm running... out of... air... *the serpent laughs and bites catc, picking her up and throwing her against the wall*

i'll try something but i hope it works.... *just then the serpnet bites and throws b me against the wall* ommph! *very slowly i rise and breathe an icey mist up towards the sphere and as it hardens on it the serpent attacks again* quick it might not last! hit it with all you have and hopefully it breaks! i can't get a good hard ice this far away and he won't let me over to you..... *the bite seems to be filled with a toxin and it starts to blur my vision*
