(of course! )*i swing my daggers at the ice ball, which shatters into a million peices* *a lot of the peices head towards catc and the serpent* *the serpent turns to water, the ice shards passing right through him* *i fall to the ground, gasping for air8

(thank yous! ) oh good it worked....the fangs have a toxin, so aviod the fangs..... *i slowly rise, m y vision now blurry and my feet unsteady*

*i crouch on the ground, gasping and coughing* are... you ok? *the serpent, now solid again, launches himself towards me*

yes i'll be fine... *through the blur i see the the large serpent move towards dspice and i lunge for him, and try and slash his side, but he moves to the side and dodges the swipe* watch out!

*i dodge to the side as the serpent flies by* *i slash at the serpent with my daggers, leaving red lines on his side* *he roars in pain and turns around* *he lunges at me, and i dodge to the left* *i throw one of my daggers at him* *it sticks in his side* *i run over to catc, shaking the water off me* are you sure you're ok?

yes...i'm fine.... i just can't see all that well....the world looks all cloudy.... and almost white.....

well, if you can fight... *the serpent roars and spews water everywhere, slowly filling the small cave* *the entrance is blocked by a wall of water*

what if i freeze this water? would it work? *the water is slowly approaching where we stand*

i don't know if freezing the water will work, but that just gave me a really good idea! when i tell you to, blow out as much ice as you can for as long as you can, ok? *the serpent continues spewing out water* *Rat and her children huddle in the far back of the cave* *i rush for the serpent*

okay *i take the biggest breath i have ever taken* ready...

*the serpent lets up on the water as i launch up to him* NOW CATC! *i slash at the serpent*

*i let out an icey breathe and the tempature is already dropping in the cave*

*the ice freezes all the water in the cave* *the serpent, covered in water, is also frozen* *his mouth hangs open in a soundless roar* *i slide to the ground, smirking* well... t-that takes c-care of that...

* i stop and catch my breath* wow it s-sure is c-cold in h-here! is h-he d-dead?

*i strap my daggers back on my ankles* *i rub my arms* n-no, he's just frozen.. if h-he is thawed, he'll b-be as good as new... *i shiver* i w-wonder how we're g-going to get out of h-here? *the cave entrance is covered by a solid wall of ice* *Rat slowly stands up* that was truly amazing, dragons... i have never seen such a battle! *i smile* well, you know...

he really needed to be taught a lesson....picking on you and your family for no reason is uncalled for.... yes i wonder how we will get out of here now....

*i rub my arms* well, we could f-flame the ice wall, b-but that may cause the s-serpent to be th-thawed as well... *the temperature slowly drops* maybe w-we can s-smash it?

that may work! and when we get out we could freeze this over and the serpent will be trapped in hee so that he won't wreck havoc on the ruins again

exactly! *i walk over to the ice wall and look all the way up* hmm... *i pull out one dagger and start beating the wall* *it chips, but doesn't break* well, this could take a while...

yep... well, might as well start! *chips away at the ice with my claws, the chips slowly flying off*

*i chip away at the wall* *eventually, there is a hole small enough for a human and a rat-dragon to fit through* shall we? *i motion to the hole*

yes we shall, you first Rat! ahhhh...the fresh air!

*breathes deeply* at least it's warm, right? *Rat and her children crawl out, very happy* *the little ones run around and laugh, bumping into things and falling over* d'awws! xD they ish so cuuute! *the sky turns dark, threatening rain again* *i look up* erm, maybe we should get out of here?

d'aww they are adorable! we should seal the hole first the air is warm and it may melt the inside of the cave! just one second...*i breathe out ice and cover the hole completely with ice and it sparkles in the dimming light* now we can leave

xD let's go! *i turn to dragon form and fly off* *the sky is slowly darkening, lightning flashing briefly*

*turns back and takes off* geez! even with the storm comming the world is bright white! darn snake!

do you want something for that? you know i can make herbs and all... *the storm rumbles louder* *below us, the landscape slowly changes from desolate wasteland to beautiful fields*

oh could you, please? i'm starting to not like this color

i'm gonna have to land, though... *below, the ground is now completely fields and grasslands* *a small pond is seen ahead* *behind us, the storm rages*

okay....*begins to go lower to land*

*lands near pond* *i make a small pinkish leaf and hand it to catc* it may take a while to work, im afraid... *Rat and her family land as well* *she looks around* this will make a perfect home for us, thank you so much! me: yeah, well.. it's what we do. *she starts digging in the soft mud, making a tunnel* but.. *she stops digging*

*takes the leaf* do i eat it? and we were happy to help out

*i laugh* no, catc, you don't eat it. you stand there and watch it with what little vision you have left! *Rat stops digging* but wait... what about the other dragon-rats still in the ruins? me: *stops laughing* should we go back for them?

oh.... i knew that oh there's more there?

Rat: *she sighs deeply while her children oblivious to everything, are still digging out their new home* of course there are more, but i'm not sure if they are capable of making the journey. some are too old or injured. me: well, catc and i are dragons, so we can carry the ones who can't fly! Rat: *shrugs* me: what do you think catc?

i'll help no matter what!

good, then it's settled! Rat: i think it's too dangerous! please don't go! me: pffft, we're dragons, we can do anything! *i smile and launch into the air* you commin' catc?

well, actually, i have no clue... >< but, that doesn't matter, because, i mean... how hard can it be to find a dragon-rat? *the sky is dark and a slight rain is falling*

at least we don't have to worry about that reptile! and ya they shouldn't be too hard to find! (oh ummmm, i'm gonna have to go here in a couple of minutes like maybe five minutes....)
