Ah. Yesyes, I saw this on Deviantart when visiting. You are absolutely amazing with the pen tool... How do you get the lines so perfect? The shading is amazing, and the visible porportions are really good. However, most of the body is obscured by the wing, giving me the feel that you got lazy and didn't want to do the body at all.

Ah, so this beith the mutated freakish creature. LOL! Very well drawn Kelsey! You are still improving greatly! One problem, the back legs seem slightly screwed compared to the front legs.

thx everyone. uhm, the head is just like that. the face was bred to look disfigured. @jade dragon: yes, thats pen. I'm a bit of a pen fanatic now :p @Nighthawk:actually, ur right, the wing was meant to save time, but it wasn't as easy as you think. I was having difficulties with the body and leg proportions, and to save time on scales and fur, I placed the wing as coverage, but I didn't have an eraser to do a special quick smudge effect with the pen, and effect I would have used to darken the wing and add shading...anyway, I had to find another way, deciding it would be fast to resort to pen strokes. I realized I had to do folds and alot more pen strokes than I thought to get it real...stupid me. It took over 2 hours to do that wing, and I lost patience with it many times. And if you look, at the main joint towards the front of the wing, I got lazy as I was finishing it. The shining falters and the lines become less precise. What would have taken 20 min to an hour took 2 hours.The whole drawing itself took about 4 or 5 hours. As for what I do with pen, I erase wet pen for much of the shading. by erasing it, I get a smudge and when controlled properly, I can do some really cool stuff. I also spend way to much time trying to make it look perfect and real. I get really fussy when I notice anything wrong at all. Flicking the pen also ads the hair like effect. @Jenu: yeah, i know. I draw at an angle and I didn't notice I skrewed up the legs until I took pen to it. I was kind of agrivated with that :p Part of the reason I don't draw backgrounds is because I have difficulty on the feet still. when I do these drawings, I try to just figure its foot is on a slanted rock or something.

aw, that sucks.. on my pic, i drew/colored my dragon form, and now i have to paint the- wait, i dont want to give away the secret!! i just have to paint the background and i'll send it in... maybe not this week but next. also, my school doesnt have art shows.... they suck
