The scalework must have taken forever. I like the eyes and the horns, as well. However, it looks quite flat. You need shading to give it that 3D realistic effect.

i like the idea of Sargon better the Echelles it's easier to say....so wats his history, where's he from and wat did he do? *thinks* oh i've got it! Sargon is a god that has the power to take away any protection, be it spells or sheilds. He has formed many kingdoms and ruled for centuries. Then another god, betrayed him and he is trapped in a shadow world trying to escape. that's all i can come up with.... can u think of anything eles jenu?
