The whole dragon looks cartoony, but the wings are especially cartoony. Try drawing more realistic dragons.

Drawing cartoonic dragons is okay, but realistic dragons are I find will help greatly improve your skill in drawing. The book is called "How To Draw Fantasy Creatures" by Micheal Teitelbaum and illustrated by Ron Zalme. It's an okay book for beginners, but I definitely recomend "Drawing & Painting Fantasy Beasts: Bring To Life The Creatures And Monsters Of Other Realms" by Kevin Walker. It is a much more advanced book and the guy actually knows what he's talking about.
