It's from a drawing guide on cartoon mythical creatures, humans, and scenes. I can't stress this enough, using references is all fine and dandy for anatomical and pose studies, but you should really try to come up with your own ideas. I think maybe this is partially my pet peeve speaking, because I hate drawing books with a passion, but it really is true. (:

Man, I have this book too. I got that book years ago. I think I was around 6 years old when I got it. That was... 10 years ago... *quirks eyebrows*

@Babydrgn: That's not a beard! xD That's the dragon's gullet! Think pelican and you got the right idea. Hmmm... Weird. The way how the eye ridge is done reminds me of Dragon Booster. Neat.
